Shvasa Innovations

Project done as part of an Internship at Shvasa Innovations Pvt Ltd as Product Design Intern

The Problem

Wearing masks for prolonged time increases the strain on breathing.

A PAPR can go on way longer and provide quality air without any strain on the user.

But, conventional PAPRs are quite bulky and expensive.

Idea was to design a low-cost, battery powered respirator with high quality air filtration.

Problems with existing PAPRs

  • Bulky

  • Unaesthetic

  • Causes discomfort

  • Head loss

  • No filtration of expelled air
